Gotta Pea® adds new updates and in-app purchases to parkour-based mobile title

HARRISBURG, Pa. – June 4, 2012 –Developer of family-friendly mobile and social online games, Gotta Pea, today announced major updates for its first mobile title, Peakour. The parkour puzzler now has a few extra perks for the pea players. The new features will debut along with Peakour’s feature as the App Store’s Free App of the Day today.

In Peakour, players drag and place pieces of junk to create a parkour obstacle, and then press play to see the main character, PeaG, run and jump from start to finish. The nasty ZomPea pit lies below, and the round is over when he falls. Now, players can reposition or drag in junk while PeaG is mid-course; PeaG will automatically stop and wait for the junk to be repositioned. More vaulting, less pit falling! Players can use their pea brains to mix and match junk to get through 100 levels that will challenge the entire family.

Peakour also now has social login capabilities. Players can sign into the game with their Gotta Pea or social account to post awards to networks like Facebook and Twitter. Once players unlock the level creator, they can share their unique puzzles with others to give their friends more hours of pea fun.

Hurry and download the game while it’s the Free App of the Day in the App Store (normally $0.99). After today, the game will be a free-to-play experience with in-app purchases to unlock different worlds.
