PARIS – November 8, 2012 - Game of Thrones, the role playing game developed by Cyanide, managed to unite a realm of players on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC thanks to the game’s captivating story, which finished with a gripping ending that took into account the choices made by players throughout their adventure. Players lived an epic tale, in parallel of the first book of the formidable fantastic saga from George R.R. Martin, a tale praised by press, players, and canonized by the author of A Song of Ice and Fire himself.
The role playing game extended the universe of Game of Thrones by presenting charismatic characters, and unveiling new, captivating events perfectly in line with the saga. Game of Thrones revealed itself as a true role playing game, spotlighting a rich and fascinating scenario, which has captivated both fans of the saga and lovers of epic quests where every choice is meaningful.
Today, we offer players a chance to extend their Game of Thrones experience with a DLC quest, and to travel to lands feared by all inhabitants from the Seven Kingdoms… a frozen, hostile territory, feared not only because of the dangers it represents, but also for all the legends talking of what lies beyond: the Northern lands, laying north of the gigantic Wall protected by the Night’s Watch.
With the downloadable content “Beyond the Wall” for Game of Thrones, we plunge into the dark past of Mors Westford, during his early years in the Night’s Watch, long before the events of the main story. Offering up to 2 hours of additional gameplay, this new quest brings us to at the heart of the Wildlings’ territory, the merciless outcast warriors, and sworn enemies of the Night’s Watch. What started as a simple patrol on top of the Wall will quickly become a real frozen hell for Mors and his companions.

In this grand adventure, they will meet famous faces: Queen Cersei, Varys the Spider or Jeor Mormont, the Lord Commander of the Night’s Watch faithfully reproduced from the TV series.
In Game of Thrones, you will choose the class of your characters, find your fighting style, reach a good balance between your strengths and weaknesses, and get ready for epic battles! Find, buy or loot new equipment and weapons to fit your approach of the fights, and gain experience to improve your skills or learn new ones.
