Financing to Support Global Broadcaster’s Upcoming Relaunch and Delivery of Premium Live and On-Demand eSports Action, News and Analysis
LOS ANGELES — March 25, 2014 — Azubu, the global broadcast network specializing in delivering premium live and on-demand eSports programming, today confirmed that Azubu and Sapinda Group (“Sapinda”) have reached an agreement whereby a $34.5 (€25) million equity capital increase is to be funded by Sapinda, a privately owned principal investment company.
This investment precedes a major relaunch of the Azubu platform next month, and underscores Sapinda’s long-term commitment to elevating eSports broadcasting to the next level. Azubu is to further benefit through Sapinda’s extensive corporate network, alongside the strong financial backing.
