Twenty Studios Selected from 87 Submissions to Compete for Cash Prizes, Publishing Agreement and Recognition in Atari’s Developer Spotlight

Pong® Indie Developer Challenge Semi-finalist Announcement Moved to May 1, 2012


LOS ANGELES – April 23, 2012 – Atari today announced that semi-finalists of the Pong® Indie Developer Challenge will be revealed on May 1, 2012. With 87 great submissions in review, the judging panel has extended their evaluation period from the initial April 24, 2012 target announcement date in order to fairly consider all the quality entries and choose the best as its 20 semi-finalists. Those developers, qualifying for the final selection round, will prepare a game build and video trailer for submission in order to compete for publishing agreements, cash prizes and promotion on Atari’s Developer Spotlight.
