AUSTIN, TX, October 21, 2024 – Wayfinder, the highly anticipated co-op action RPG from Airship Syndicate, launches today, introducing Lora who is the latest Wayfinder to join the ranks, an expansive open-world zone, and a wealth of new content. After its transformation from an online-only game to a fully-realized co-op ARPG, the definitive Wayfinder experience is now available with no microtransactions and a one-time purchase price of $24.99 on Steam and PlayStation 5, with Xbox arriving later this month. In Wayfinder, players wield the powers of eight unique heroes, including the new Wayfinder, Lora –  The Vessel, each with distinct abilities and playstyles. Set out solo or in 3-player co-op as you journey through the campaign and explore mysterious Lost Zones. Players can also battle across the secret and boss filled large open world of the Highlands, Frostmarch, and the all-new The Crucible, or embark on expeditions into 13 different Lost Zone dungeons that are different each time . With over 3,000 weapons, armor pieces, housing items, and other collectibles, players customize their Wayfinders and embark on endless adventures.

Meet Lora – The Vessel 

Lora is the vessel of a primal spirit—a deadly force that frightens even her allies. An orphan with few memories of her past, she’s determined to master this power before she loses anyone else. Lora is the 3rd Arcanist to join fellow Wayfinders to expel the Gloom. 

Lora’s strives in the middle of a large battle. Her ability to harness the power of the Avatar, means that her abilities have alternate versions via her passive called “Channeling”. When she damages enemies and attacks with abilities or weapons she charges the Avatar allowing her to deal devastating augmented abilities. When she has enough power to unleash her ultimate, she transforms into the Avatar for a period of time dealing massive damage to all around her. 

Discover The Crucible: A New Open-World Zone

Launching with the full release, The Crucible is a sprawling, vertical zone once engineered by the Architects and now overrun by the Eldren. It features thrilling quests, dynamic mini-bosses, and secret-filled landscapes. Players use the Hookshot to navigate this massive area, uncovering hidden locations and evading dangers in this stunning, yet perilous, zone.

Customize Your Experience
Players craft unique builds suited to their playstyle using talent trees, Wayfinder Ranks, and the revamped Echoes system. The game’s upgrade to randomized loot and armor means no two builds will ever be the same. Players can collect all Wayfinders early-on, making it easier than ever to explore with your favorite characters and start crafting the ultimate build.

But that’s not all
Wayfinder now supports cross-play across all platforms, allowing players to share gameplay lobbies across PC, PlayStation, and soon Xbox. Whether you’re playing solo or co-op, you can pick up your progress and continue your adventure across any platform.
