REDONDO BEACH, Calif. — November 13, 2025 — Identified Kaiju are on the loose! Kaiju No. 8 storms into GungHo Online Entertainment’s Puzzle & Dragons as the hit mobile puzzle game unleashes its latest collaboration. Today from 18:00 through November 30, 17:59 (PST), players can join the ranks of the Japan Anti-Kaiju Defense Force, squad up with the series’ iconic officers, and take the fight directly to monstrous Kaiju across limited-time dungeons.
Recruit Humanity’s Last Line of Defense
Players can use Magic Stones to recruit powerful characters from the Kaiju No. 8 universe, including fan favorites like Kafka Hibino, Reno Ichikawa, and Gen Narumi. Login Stamps will grant players daily rewards; log in for a total of 10 days to earn two pulls from the Kaiju No. 8 Egg Machine.
Kaiju-Sized Dungeons
Test your unleashed combat power against seven colossal, collab-exclusive dungeons:
- Kaiju No. 8 Quest: Available in the Event Quest, players can complete Quest missions to earn up to 10 Magic Stones as Quest Level Rewards and other Quest Rewards. P&D Pass holders receive additional rewards.
- Kaiju No. 8-Novice / Kaiju No. 8-Expert: Clear floors to earn Kaiju No. 8 Collab Medals and exchange them for exclusive characters at the Monster Exchange.
- Kaiju No. 8-Novice: Receive Quest Rewards such as 1 billion Coins for each floor cleared as missions. Complete all floors to get Kafka Hibino & Reno Ichikawa (Reward).
- Kaiju No. 8-Expert: Receive Quest Rewards such as 50,000 MP for each floor cleared as missions. Complete all floors to earn Kaiju No. 8 Egg Machine. This dungeon will be available on 11/19, 0:00 (PST).
- Identified Kaiju, Kaiju No. 9 Descended!: Kaiju No. 9 lurks in the shadows. Defeat the dungeon boss for a guaranteed drop of Identified Kaiju, Kaiju No. 9, and secure Quest Rewards like the ★7+ Kaiju No. 8 Egg Machine. This dungeon is available in both Solo and 3-Player Multiplayer modes.
- [Third Division] Title Challenge!: Clear the dungeon under time pressure with a fixed Team to earn the [Third Division] title and a Quest Reward of 2x Kaiju No. 8 Collab Medal – Rainbow.
Kaiju No. 8 Colosseum!: Get a boosted 100% drop rate when using a Kaiju No. 8 Collab character as your Leader. 100,000 MP is granted as a Quest Reward and get a 4-PvP Icon on your first clear. This dungeon is available in both Solo and 3-Player Multiplayer modes. Also, get a 100% drop rate bonus in 3-Player Multiplayer mode when all leaders are Kaiju No. 8 Collab characters.
Monster Exchange & MP Shop
Exchange Kaiju No. 8 Collab Medals at the Monster Exchange for exclusive characters, including Bakko. Players can also recruit the legendary Defense Force commander, Isao Shinomiya, from the MP Shop. Obtaining him for the first time enhances the Collab Enhancement [Kaiju No. 8] badge to Collab Enhancement+ [Kaiju No. 8].
4-PvP Icon
During the collaboration, players can purchase the exclusive Reno Ichikawa 4-PvP Icon with Magic Stones.
