Developed by Press Play, CCP Games, and Rare veterans, the ambitious Trailmakers 2.0 rework expands PvE and PvP gameplay for its 5 million players
Copenhagen, February 20, 2025 – Today, Flashbulb Games revealed Trailmakers: Pioneers, a 2.0 overhaul of the hit open-world vehicle sandbox adventure, introducing survival gameplay and more ways to unlock player creativity. Leveraging decades of experience from Press Play, CCP Games, IO Interactive, and Rare, Trailmakers: Pioneers empowers players to explore, experiment, and create custom vehicles. Trailmakers: Pioneers launches on March 6, 2025 at no additional cost for players on PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One.

Trailmakers: Pioneers redefines the Trailmakers experience with a new campaign mode, survival gameplay, and an intuitive block crafting system. Players scavenge for build parts, create custom land, sea, or air vehicles, and defend against threats in one of four vast open-world maps. Whether playing solo or teaming up with up to eight players in a personal server, Trailmakers: Pioneers is the ultimate playground for racing, combat, and building without limits.

Trailmakers: Pioneers Key Features:
- Physics-Driven Construction: Build simple survival vehicles to massive, technical machinery with a system that reacts to weight, environments, and terrain. Go all out with designs or optimize for efficiency.
- Campaign and Survival Mode: Upgrade and progress by finding different blocks for different vehicles, gather resources and fight against the evil BOTNAK corporation.
- Mega Expeditions: The Pioneers map expands across a 10km x 10km plane, offering vast landscapes for daring explorers, ambitious builders, and high-speed racers.

Trailmakers is available for $24.99 USD on PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. The game is also available as a free download for Xbox Game Pass subscribers.
