The studio’s fastest-growing title hits Galaxy XR with cross-platform play to Meta Quest headsets live at launch.

AUSTIN, TEXAS – November 13, 2025 Owlchemy Labs, the Google-owned VR studio behind Job Simulator and Vacation Simulator, today announced that Dimensional Double Shift—its cooperative multiplayer VR hit—is officially launching on the Samsung Galaxy XR headset on December 11, 2025 for free for all players. A Familiar Shift, A New Playground

Whether you’re fixing monster trucks in Hexas, dodging seagulls in New Joysey, or serving interdimensional customers in Treeattle, the Dimensional Double Shift experience remains full of slapstick mayhem and corporate-approved camaraderie, now in a brand new headset. On December 11, Galaxy XR users can:

  • Clock In Across the Omniverse – All currently available dimensions, including Treeattle, Hexas, and New Joysey, are playable at launch.
  • Play Together, No Matter the Headset – Cross-play support between Galaxy XR and other VR headsets means crews can unite across realities.
  • Enjoy Full Feature Parity – The Galaxy XR version includes every update released to date, plus optimizations for Android XR’s spatial computing platform.

“Dimensional Double Shift represents everything we love about VR: it’s social, physical, and just a little bit absurd,” said Andrew Eiche, CEOwl at Owlchemy Labs. “Galaxy XR gives us a chance to bring that experience to even more players, with tech that enhances every high-five, every chaos-fueled toss, and every moment that turns into shared laughter.”
