Today’s update introduces fan-favorite Ananas Dragon Cookie and a new chapter of the Timeline of Fate saga
Seoul, South Korea – July 2, 2026 – Devsisters today launched the Dragontongue Song Update for CookieRun: Kingdom, bringing fan-favorite Ananas Dragon Cookie to the mobile RPG as the Timeline of Fate saga continues.
CookieRun: Kingdom blends kingdom-building, squad-based combat, and ongoing story chapters in a colorful RPG where players collect Cookies, build teams, and adventure through the Cookie World. In the latest chapter of Timeline of Fate, Kingdom’s time-bending saga expands to Pineapple Island, where the Cookies set sail in search of ancient dragon power. With the Ultimate Oven torn open and corrupted Guardians of Nature emerging from another timeline, Beast-Yeast becomes a battlefield once again. As an ominous presence darkens the skies over the islands, Ananas Dragon Cookie, the golden-scaled monarch of Pineapple Island, awakens to help confront the growing threat.
Ananas Dragon Cookie arrives as only the second Dragon Cookie to join CookieRun: Kingdom’s playable roster, making their debut a big moment for longtime fans. Dragon Cookies have always felt rare and larger than life within CookieRun, often tied to ancient power, major storylines, and some of the franchise’s most memorable characters. First introduced in CookieRun: OvenBreak, Ananas Dragon Cookie now brings that legacy to Kingdom as the golden-scaled ruler of Pineapple Island takes center stage in the Dragontongue Song Update.
Key features of the Dragontongue Song Update include:
- A story chapter that sends players to Pineapple Island, where the Cookies search for ancient dragon power as a threat spreads across Beast-Yeast.
- Ananas Dragon Cookie, a fan-favorite character and only the second Dragon Cookie to become playable in CookieRun: Kingdom. In battle, Ananas Dragon Cookie transforms into a golden dragon, shields allies, frightens enemies, and comes crashing down from the sky with serious force.
- Battle mechanics tied to the story, including Primordial Ravens that blanket the battlefield in dangerous fog and bring defeated enemies back into the fight.
- Word of Life, a tactical skill that helps players turn the tide by damaging corrupted enemies, stopping enemy revivals, and protecting the team when Ananas Dragon Cookie is in the lineup.
- A Legendary Costume for Wind Archer Cookie, Raven of the Endless Night, giving the beloved archer a darker, corrupted look.
- Golden Harvest, a roguelike deck-building mini-game where players help Custard Cookie III rebuild the kingdom by producing goods, stacking smart item combinations, and collecting as many Golden Cheeseballs as possible.
- The return of Duel of Destiny, a limited-time strategy mode where every player starts on equal footing and builds their team during battle. This season puts Ananas Dragon Cookie against Wind Archer Cookie’s corrupted form.
- The Glorious Voyage, a returning naval trading event where players set sail, visit islands, trade goods, choose Cookie Captains, and collect seasonal rewards.
The July update also lands during a busy summer for the broader CookieRun universe. Pre-registration is now open for CookieRun: Crumble, Devsisters’ newest game, ahead of its launch later this month, while the next booster set for CookieRun: Braverse Trading Card Game goes live in late July.
