# 3goo Launches 4PGP, Available Now on Nintendo Switch 1 & 2

*A love letter to 90s arcade racers, 4PGP delivers multiplayer competition, modern performance, and GameShare support on the Nintendo Switch 2 for instant pick-up-and-play*

**TOKYO — February 4, 2026 —  **[3goo](https://3goo.co.jp/) (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Nicolas Di Costanzo) today released *4PGP*, its multiplayer Japanese arcade-style racing game built for players of all skill levels. *4PGP *is available now for [$19.99 USD on Nintendo Switch™](https://www.nintendo.com/us/store/products/4pgp-switch/) and for [$24.99 USD on Nintendo Switch 2™](https://www.nintendo.com/us/store/products/4pgp-nintendo-switch-2-edition-switch-2/?srsltid=AfmBOopkgKc1Leu9hOm58644BQ1lVEEOlLQ2ed5IpOIQvHMvnKN8WNM7).

Check out the *4PGP* launch trailer [here](https://youtu.be/6YaCUFiJrtM?si=LaDM9VRJMAA9E1A1), featuring a deeper look at the game’s multiplayer modes, including the classic split-screen multiplayer, as well as the Nintendo Switch 2’s brand new GameShare feature.

Backed by 3goo’s experience publishing racing titles like [*Test Drive*](https://3goo.co.jp/product/testdriveunlimitedsolarcrown/) and [*Gear.Club*](https://3goo.co.jp/product/gcu3/), the team built *4PGP* for players of all skill levels, **pairing a 90s-inspired arcade feel with modern performance**. Up to four players can race together locally in split-screen. On Nintendo Switch 2, GameShare enables local multiplayer using a single copy of the game, while GameChat allows players to race online. Players can choose from **Rookie, Novice, Veteran, and Expert** difficulty settings, then jump into **Quick Race, Championship Mode, and Time Attack Mode** on tracks from around the world as they unlock more cars and keep chasing faster times.

*4PGP* also **brings seasoned arcade racing talent to the starting line**, with design contributions from [Kenji Sasaki](https://segaretro.org/Kenji_Sasaki), known for genre classics such as [*Sega Rally*](https://segaretro.org/Sega_Rally_Championship) and [*Ridge Racer*](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ridge_Racer). The game’s high-energy feel is matched by an original soundtrack composed by [Tomoyuki Kawamura](https://segaretro.org/Tomoyuki_Kawamura), whose work includes racing scores for titles such as [*Sega Rally*](https://segaretro.org/Sega_Rally_Championship), [*Virtua Racing*](https://segaretro.org/Virtua_Racing), and [*Tokyo Xtreme Racer*](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tokyo_Xtreme_Racer_(1999_video_game)).

For players who own a Nintendo Switch 2, *4PGP - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition* offers an upgraded experience, featuring **Full HD/120fps or 4K/60fps settings** and **GameShare** support. With GameShare, up to four players can race together on their respective systems with only one copy of the game. **Share the game locally or online via GameChat for fun with everyone**, regardless of where you are.

*“4PGP marks 3goo’s first foray into in-house development. Inspired by the demand for local multiplayer racing experiences, this arcade racer brings the thrill of the 1990s arcade scene to a new generation on Nintendo Switch,” ***said Quanah Sugiyama, Project Manager on *****4PGP*****.** *“The title 4PGP, short for Four-Player Grand Prix, embodies that concept, blending the classic arcade spirit with modern design to deliver an experience everyone can enjoy together.”*

Players racing into *4PGP* today will experience:

- **Arcade Racing for Every Skill Level:** Four difficulty settings, Rookie, Novice, Veteran, and Expert, as well as an Assist Mode for younger racers, making it easy for newcomers to jump in while giving experienced racers a real challenge.
- **Multiplayer Mayhem with GameShare and GameChat:** Race solo or with up to four players in split-screen, and join friends with GameShare locally on both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2, or play online with others on Nintendo Switch 2 via GameChat.
- **Multiple Game Modes:** Hop into Quick Races for instant fun, tackle a full set of courses in Championship Mode, or chase perfect laps in Time Attack Mode.
- **Unlockable Tracks and Vehicles:** Race and unlock an expanding lineup of 14 circuits and build out your collection of 19 cars.
- **90s Vibe, Modern Tech:** Enjoy a 90s-inspired arcade racing feel paired with modern visuals and performance, powered by a custom engine. For Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, the game supports 4K resolution (at 60fps) and 120fps (when playing in Full HD).
