# Black Desert Begins Desert Light Event as Part of 4-Year Self-Publishing Celebration

**Manhattan Beach, CA – June 18, 2026 –**  Pearl Abyss today announced a new global community event, “Desert Light,” in Black Desert, inviting Adventurers worldwide to work together toward shared milestones while earning valuable rewards.

As part of the game's ongoing 4-year self-publishing celebration, Adventurers can collect “Desert Light” through a variety of in-game activities, including daily login challenges, defeating monsters, gathering, fishing, World Bosses, and Dark Rifts.

Collected Desert Light can be exchanged through the Ancient Device in Velia for Desert Luminary's Tokens, which will contribute to a global community objective. As Adventurers worldwide collect tokens and reach milestone thresholds of 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%, additional rewards will be unlocked for the entire community.

If the 100% milestone is reached within the event period, additional celebration events will be held, featuring enhanced Blessing of the Morning effects, increased Agris Fever recovery, and Hot Time bonuses of up to 1,000% Combat EXP, 100% Item Drop Rate, and 100% Life EXP.

Adventurers can also exchange their accumulated tokens for a variety of valuable rewards, including a Bundle of 4,000 Cron Stones, Advice of Valks (+250), and a Choose Your Premium Outfit Box, among other items designed to support their adventures.  

This new event builds upon the ongoing 4-year self-publishing celebration, which began earlier this month with special login rewards and community activities. Additional events and rewards will continue to be introduced in the weeks leading up to Heidel Ball in July.
