# Last Chance to Enter Atari's Pong® Indie Developer Challenge is April 15, 2012

**Submission Period for *Pong* Contest Ends 11:59PM EST Sunday Night**

[*](https://pressreleases.triplepointpr.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/pong_contest_logo_v2.jpg)**LOS ANGELES - April 12, 2012 - **Atari today reminded mobile developers that the deadline to submit an entry to the Pong*® Indie Developer Challenge is this Sunday, April 15, 2012. Submissions will be accepted up until 11:59PM EST on Sunday, after which up to 20 semi-finalists will be selected and announced on April 24, 2012. Developers looking to submit their entry should visit: http://atari.com/pong-indie-developer-challenge-entry-form.

All semi-finalists will then begin work on a playable demo and receive support on the production of a video trailer. Trailers will be featured across Atari’s various properties that reach millions of fans and receive publicity support from other third party outlets. A celebrity judging panel consisting of Nolan Bushnell, Dave Castelnuovo, David Whatley and Mike Schramm will then identify up to 10 finalists, who will all be featured on Atari’s [Developer Spotlight](http://atari.com/pongdeveloperchallenge/finalists) where Atari fans can see each developer’s profile and contest submission. The finalists, announced June 19, 2012, will be awarded three-year rev-share publishing agreements and cash prizes based on their final ranking: $50,000 to first place, $37,500 to second, $15,000 to third, and $5,000 each to the remaining finalists.

Upcoming dates to note for the *Pong* Indie Developer Challenge include:

•        April 24: Semi-Finalists Announcement

•        May 29: Semi-Finalists Demo and Video Submission

•        June 19: Finalists Announcement

•        July 6: Completed Finalists’ Mobile App Submission

•        August 2: Winner Announcement
