# The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones Mobile Game Coming on August 15 from PlayFirst and Sony Pictures Consumer Products

PlayFirst and Sony Pictures Consumer Products have teamed up to release the official mobile game for *The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones *movie, coming soon for iOS and Android™. The action role-playing game will be available for free on the App Store and Google Play™ on August 15, a week before the release of the film, in theaters August 21.

Players will take on the role of a Shadowhunter, a half-angel, half–human warrior, and defeat vampires, warlocks and other demons to save New York City from their malevolent clutches. Featuring locations, characters and magical abilities from the film, *The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones* mobile game is the perfect way for fans to get excited about the upcoming movie release while introducing new fans through the game.
