Onepager Raises $350K in Seed Funding to Expand Website Building Platform for Small Businesses

Onepager logoNEW YORK – October 13, 2011 – Onepager, a start-up offering a simple website building tool, today announced that it has raised $350,000 in a seed funding round led by New York angel investors Daniel Eskapa and Mark Birch. The new funds will be used to further the development of Onepager’s product and expand the New York-based company’s marketing efforts as it continues to be adopted by small businesses, non-profits and organizations around the world.

Launched in July 2011, Onepager simplifies the process of creating great looking websites that small business owners can easily manage themselves. With Onepager, one can create a professional website from start-to-finish in a short amount of time and without previous website building experience.

Co-Founder Matthew Shampine described the seed funding round as “a critical step towards spreading Onepager’s services to small businesses everywhere. With the support of this funding, we will continue improving our platform, making it more accessible to companies of all types and better suited to accommodate their individual needs. Onepager streamlines the creation of small business websites, similar to what Tumblr did for blogging.”

“With the web now the key medium by which businesses and organizations are discovered, the demand for a professional-looking website has never been higher,” said Mark Birch, who also serves as an advisor for Onepager. “Onepager satisfies this demand without the need for extensive coding knowledge, saving small businesses time, stress, and money.”

“The Onepager team has a proven track record in both business and design,” said Daniel Eskapa. “I’m excited to have the opportunity to help them grow as they find new and creative ways for small business owners to connect with their customer base.”
