New Version of Mobile Strategy Game Includes Revamped Hero System and Single-player ‘Survival Mode’
BEIJING – Feb. 11, 2014 – Faceroll Games and Chukong Technologies today announced a significant update to Galaxy Factions, the mobile strategy game that puts players in command of their own space base. Galaxy Factions originally launched on iOS in November 2013, and the update adds new features and rewards for the game’s dedicated player base.
Among the host of gameplay and balance improvements, the update expands on Galaxy Factions’ popular hero system, which allows players to recruit powerful warriors to lead their forces. Heroes can now gain levels by fighting in battles and earn promotions to improve their strength and unlock special abilities. In addition, the update lets players recruit a brand new ninja hero, opening up strategic options for trickery and espionage in extraterrestrial battle.
Chukong Technologies and Faceroll Games have also improved on Galaxy Factions’ single player experience by adding a new ‘Survival Mode,’ where players can defend against endless waves of enemies to earn resources and medals that carry over to multiplayer combat. ‘Survival Mode’ offers a brand new way for players to take on Galaxy Factions’ advanced enemy AI, which has also been improved to offer more challenging and satisfying tactical combat.
