Acclaimed Japanese Developers to Participate, Demo, and Identify New Partnerships at San Francisco Event

The Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) has announced that it will be featuring a selection of Japanese video game companies in its booth at this year’s Game Connection America, taking place March 17-19 in San Francisco at the Sir Francis Drake Hotel. JETRO will have a full-size meeting space in which the developers will be individually stationed and accepting meetings to conduct demos, meet new partners, and discuss potential business partnerships. JETRO’s participation will be supported by Software Illuminati, a Seattle-based independent provider of strategic consulting services to game developers, to facilitate business meetings between Japanese developers and overseas companies. Those interested in attending and meeting any one of the developers are encouraged to contact JETRO San Francisco to set up a meeting prior to the event, at jonki_ms [at] me [dot] com and Hiroko_Ogawa [at] jetro [dot] go [dot] jp.

The games span various platforms including mobile (iOS and Android), console and PC, and include independent studios and publicly-traded companies with publishing capabilities that reach around the globe.
