NetEase Games Introduces New Playable Classes, Servers, and Artifact in Latest Content Update for MMORPG Crusaders of Light, Available Now

BRISBANE, Calif. – May 23, 2019 – NetEase Games (NASDAQ: NTES) today launched a new content update for Crusaders of Light, its free-to-play cross-platform MMORPG. Players may now choose to play as the new Dark Ranger, Chaos Mystic, or Divine Paladin classes and harness the power of the stars with the Favor of Torannis Artifact. Additionally, players can transfer their characters and explore two new European and North American servers: Bladefall Valley for UTC-5 and Guardian Fort for UCT+2.

Expansive games such as Crusaders of Light along with an 11-year partnership with Blizzard Entertainment has enabled NetEase to produce some of the leading mobile MMORPG platforms on the market. With PC-level graphics, seven distinctive classes, and over 300 hours of gameplay, Crusaders of Light is an immersive MMORPG in the palm of your hand. Fight alongside friends to protect the peace of Karnavale against looming threats in challenging dungeons and 40-person raids, or test your skills against opponents in various PvP game modes. Crusaders of Light is available on the App Store, Google Play, Facebook Gameroom, and Steam as a free download.

Features of the new classes and servers include:

  • High Damage: Harness the power of the darkness with the Dark Ranger class, which features a strong damage per second (DPS) attack, or the Chaos Mystic class, which features a devastating area of effect (AOE) attack.
  • Solid Defense: Support your team with the Divine Paladin class by healing or transferring buffs to others on the battlefield.
  • Power of the Ancient Gods: Grasp the power of the stars by obtaining the Favor of Torannis Artifact to strengthen your power.
  • Difficulty-Matching: Both Bladefall Valley and Guardian Fort do not have a level requirement, offering balanced and fair gameplay for new, mid, or lower-level players.
