Gintama Samurai Characters Now Available in First-Ever Puzzle & Dragons Collab in the West

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. – Apr. 24, 2020 – Odd Jobs Gin is open for business! GungHo Online Entertainment has announced today that Gintama characters are now available in the worldwide mobile gaming phenomenon Puzzle & Dragons in a brand-new collaboration. From April 24 through May 10, players will be able to collect and utilize some of the most iconic characters from the smash-hit manga and anime series, Gintama.

Take classic Gintama characters such as Gintoki Sakata, Kagura, and Shinpachi Shimura to form your party. In Puzzle & Dragons’ latest collab, a new dungeon with six different difficulties appear for players to challenge. Players can get Justaway drops from this dungeon to exchange for select characters from the Monster Exchange. What’s more, the infamous Taizou Hasegawa (a.k.a. MADAO) can drop in dungeons as a rare drop. Don’t forget to stop by the two special floors themed after the Kabuki District Festival, and even a three-player multiplayer dungeon specially themed after the big bang hit.

Players who log in during this event will receive a pull from the Gintama Memorial Egg Machine, completely free of charge. Players can also pull from the Gintama Egg Machine for 5 Magic Stones throughout the collab. For those eager for more, there are three special bundles available. During the length of the collab, players can purchase the 20 Magic Stones + ★6 Gintama Egg Machine ($19.99 USD), which guarantees a mighty ★6 Rarity character!
