Wraith: The Oblivion – Afterlife is a story-driven VR horror game and the first VR title set in the World of Darkness universe. Players take on the role of Ed Miller, a photographer who becomes a Wraith after a mysterious séance goes wrong. Determined to uncover the truth behind your death, you’ll use your supernatural Wraith abilities to explore the Barclay Mansion and uncover its darkest secrets. But beware, violent spirits known as Spectres lurk in the shadows and want nothing more than to send you into the Oblivion, the end of all things.
Combining chilling atmosphere with gripping story, Wraith: The Oblivion – Afterlife creates a VR horror experience that is built on tension and suspense rather than jump scares. Players will need to rely on their sense of self-preservation to avoid and outwit Spectres if they want to solve the Barclay Mansion’s mysteries.
“We launched Wraith: The Oblivion – Afterlife on Oculus headsets last month and have been blown away by the overwhelmingly positive response by our players. This is currently one of the highest-rated VR horror games out right now and we couldn’t be more proud,” Erik Odeldahl, co-founder and creative director at Fast Travel Games, said. “When we started working on Wraith: The Oblivion – Afterlife, we wanted to tell a story in one of our favorite horror worlds. To see so many people enjoying Wraith, and wanting to spend more time in our world, is why we make games.”
