Today’s update begins Act 2 of CookieRun: Kingdom with Timekeeper Cookie, Ash Salt Cookie, a fractured timeline, and new ways to battle through past, present, and future
Seoul, South Korea – May 7, 2026 – Devsisters today launched the Timeline of Fate update for CookieRun: Kingdom, its flagship mobile RPG, opening the next chapter of the game’s evolving saga with a new time-bending story arc, new Cookies, expanded progression systems, and limited-time battle content.
CookieRun: Kingdom blends kingdom-building, squad-based combat, and ongoing story chapters in a colorful RPG where players collect Cookies, build teams, and adventure through the Cookie World. In Timeline of Fate, Kingdom turns the page on its previous saga and begins a new era of storytelling, following the climactic showdown against Dark Enchantress Cookie. With the last chapter concluded, Shadow Milk Cookie sets the next act in motion by stealing a fragment of the Ultimate Cookie’s dough and the Beast’s Soul Jams before escaping into the past and fracturing the timeline itself. With reality splitting apart, Timekeeper Cookie emerges to protect the flow of time, setting the stage for a new chapter filled with battles that stretch across past, present, and future.
The update arrives as CookieRun continues to grow from a hit game franchise into a broader pop culture presence. The IP has surpassed 300 million cumulative players worldwide and has reached fans beyond the screen through its KPop Demon Hunters collaboration and a New York City pop-up that drew more than 40,000 visitors during the 10 days it was open. CookieRun: Kingdom was also named one of the Top 10 trending topics in the United States in YouTube’s Global Culture & Trends Report 2025.

- An addition to World Exploration, Timeline of Fate, where players explore the first episode, “Ash-Bound Soul,” with more story content coming in the next update.
- A battle rule, Unstable Timeline, that makes enemies stronger and harder to defeat while slowing players’ movement and attacks.
- A tactical skill, Timeline Reconstruction, that helps players fight back by removing enemy advantages, clearing harmful effects from allies, and speeding up team abilities.

- Timekeeper Cookie, a new Legendary Cookie who uses time-based magic to damage enemies, disrupt their attacks, and stop revived foes in their tracks.
- Ash Salt Cookie, a new Epic Cookie built for fast, aggressive attacks that can dive into enemy lines, weaken opponents over time, and keep the pressure on.
- More ways to grow Legendary Cookies, with a new 6-star growth system that will roll out across existing Legendary Cookies over time.
- The Exploration Logbook, which helps players track discoveries, collect exploration elements, and earn rewards as they progress through the new region.
- The return of Arcade Arena, featuring four limited-time seasons with rotating battle rules from May 7 through June 4.
- Kingdom Affairs, a new shortcut hub that makes it easier for players to find activities, collect rewards, and manage daily gameplay.
- Endgame and cosmetic content, including the expansion to 55 trays in Choco Cake Tower and new Beings of Ancient Scriptures costumes for Black Sapphire Cookie and Candy Apple Cookie.
