Manhattan Beach, CA – May 12, 2026 – Pearl Abyss today unveiled the latest update for Black Desert Mobile, headlined by the introduction of Boss Blitz, a new combat mode designed to deliver action-focused boss encounters. The update arrives as the 2026 Martial God Championship reaches its peak, following the successful conclusion of the preliminary rounds.

New Content: Boss Blitz
Boss Blitz introduces a new battle format that challenges Adventurers to face powerful bosses in fast-paced encounters centered around tactical gameplay. Available to players who reach 60,000 Combat Power, the content features rotating bosses and two selectable difficulty modes.
Designed to emphasize skillful play, Boss Blitz allows Adventurers to identify and exploit boss weaknesses during battle while countering relentless attacks within a three-minute time limit. While the Beginner difficulty provides skill guidance, the Advanced difficulty removes on-screen skill guidance entirely, rewarding players who master attack patterns and execute successful counters with higher scores.
The content also introduces a seasonal ranking structure divided into Assault, Onslaught, and Extreme tiers, with promotions and demotions determined by weekly performance across all servers. Adventurers can earn Furious Battle Loot Chests and Tokens of Valor based on their rankings, with Tokens exchangeable through NPC Tachros in Velia for additional rewards.
To celebrate the launch of Boss Blitz, Black Desert Mobile is hosting an in-game event running through May 24. Adventurers who participate in Boss Blitz and complete combo-based missions can obtain All-in-One Raid Chest containing entry tickets for various boss encounters.
2026 Martial God Championship
Black Desert Mobile’s highly anticipated 2026 Martial God Championship is underway, bringing together top PvP competitors from around the world in both 1vs1 and 2vs2 tournament formats.
The championship preliminaries were scheduled across multiple days, with 1vs1 matches having taken place from May 7–8 and 2vs2 preliminaries from May 9–10. Teams and players advancing to the Top 8 will compete in the main stage finals on May 16, broadcast live through the official Black Desert Mobile YouTube channel.
In conjunction with the tournament, Black Desert Mobile is also hosting a special in-game winner prediction event. Available from May 12 to May 16, Adventurers can predict the champions of both the 1vs1 and 2vs2 competitions before the live broadcasts begin. Successful predictions will reward players with Black Pearls, while Adventurers who correctly predict both tournament winners will receive an exclusive special title.
