Custom Room Feature, Two New Maps, and More Mark the Latest Update to Nexon’s Classic Tactical FPS

Seoul – September 14, 2026 NEXON Korea announced today that Sudden Attack Zero Point, the remaster of its iconic tactical FPS Sudden Attack, is celebrating its Early Access launch on Steam with “Pre-Season 2 Gear Up: Ready for Action,” a limited-time event running now through October 1. Sudden Attack Zero Point launched into Early Access on Steam on July 30, and a new event is helping players hit the ground running. Anyone who logs in during the event period will instantly boost their account to level 5 (Staff Sergeant I) and unlock every weapon — a fast track into the action for returning veterans and new recruits alike.

Alongside the event, Sudden Attack Zero Point has rolled out a wave of new content and quality-of-life updates, including a Custom Room feature for private matches with friends, two new maps, a Map Practice Mode, an in-lobby chat system, and adjustments to the game’s leave-penalty system.

“Pre-Season 2 Gear Up: Ready for Action” Features:

  • Custom Room: A new private-match feature for players who want to team up with friends.
  • Two New Maps: Dragon Road, built for Bomb Defusal Mode, and Supply Base – A, available exclusively in Custom Room matches.
  • Map Practice Mode: Explore maps and practice by setting up targets.
  • Lobby Chat System: A new chat feature lets players communicate with each other before matches begin.
  • Leave Penalty Adjustments: The game leave penalty has been reset, and its time limit has been changed.

Players can jump into the following events for special rewards:

  • Pre-Season 2 Gear Up: Ready for Action (through October 1 UTC): During the event period, players who log in instantly raise their account level to 5 (Staff Sergeant I) and unlock all weapons.
  • Daily Login Event (through September 16 UTC): Players who log in each day receive two Key Cards, which can be used to open Crates earned through gameplay.
  • Match Victory Event (through September 16 UTC): Players earn Mastery Weapon Crates for match victories, with up to four crates available per day.
  • Playtime Event (through September 16 UTC): Players are rewarded with Rare and Epic Weapon Crates for time spent in-game, earning up to two Rare and one Epic Crate per day.

The free-to-play FPS retains the franchise’s signature fast-paced combat and strategic gameplay rooted in classic bomb defusal and Team Deathmatch (TDM), while introducing a deep weapon customization system and enhanced visuals built on a modern game engine.
