Haruka (Dress) and Mutsuki (Dress) Join Pick-Up Recruitment as Drumbarka Enters Total Assault on September 22
Seoul – September 16, 2026 – NEXON announced today that it has added a new open-world Main Story chapter to Blue Archive, the squad-based tactical RPG, alongside a Pick-Up Recruitment featuring ★3 students Haruka (Dress) and Mutsuki (Dress). Drumbarka, the boss introduced in the new chapter, joins Total Assault as a new raid target on September 22.

Two new ★3 students, Haruka (Dress) and Mutsuki (Dress), join Pick-Up Recruitment following the September 15 maintenance and remain available through September 29.
Pick-Up Recruitment features:
- Haruka (Dress) ★3: An Explosive-type Striker who spends her own HP to deal powerful, defense-ignoring damage to a single enemy. That output gives her a high ceiling in Downtown Total Assault and Decisive Battle content, and she serves as a main Phase 2 damage dealer against Drumbarka.
- Mutsuki (Dress) ★3: A damage dealer whose EX Skill delivers explosive single-target damage, while her basic skill lowers the critical damage resistance of enemies within range. Her one-shot burst makes her an instant burst-damage pick for Lunatic Phase 1 against Drumbarka.
September 16 update key features:
- Lore Pursuit Chapter 2: In “What’s Inside the Drum Barrel,” students of FOX Squad are tasked by the Federal Student Council President to investigate a disappearance at Kanezaki Port, uncovering the truth behind the urban legend “Drumbarka.” Presented in an open-world format, the chapter lets players explore Kanezaki Port directly, gather hidden clues, and shape the story through a variety of choices.
- Drumbarka: The boss featured in the main story joins Total Assault on September 22. Drumbarka carries two defense types, Light Armor and Special Armor, and uses a range of EX Skills built for strategic raid play, including “Counter Claw,” which releases stored damage from a defensive stance, and “Main Cannon Fire,” which launches a massive cannon blast.
Blue Archive is a free-to-play tactical RPG set in Kivotos, where players take on the role of Sensei and lead squads of students through real-time strategic combat. Build relationships with students through MomoTalk and character stories, then assemble squads to take on missions, raids, and story content. The game is available on mobile and on PC via Steam, and NEXON continues to expand it with regular updates that add new students, story chapters, and events.
