TOKYO, Japan – September 10, 2020 – Today, GungHo Online Entertainment (GOE) released Ninjala’s ninth dev diary, revealing a September 23rd start date for its upcoming Sonic The Hedgehog collaboration and providing additional details about its contents. Also shown off was an upcoming new game mode: Featured Battle. This new mode shakes things up in the arena by adding limited-time events that feature wild new ways to play beyond Ninjala’s traditional Battle Royale and Team Battles.

Ninjala Season 2 Now Live, Sonic the Hedgehog Collaboration Coming Soon

Dev Diary #8 introduces players to a new weapon class, discusses seasonal progression, and teases upcoming Ninjala cartoon episode

TOKYO, Japan – August 27, 2020 – Ninjas gotta go fast! GungHo Online Entertainment (GOE) today released Season 2 for their hit arena brawler Ninjala on the Nintendo Switch. Season 2 adds a new board-themed weapon class with multiple variations and a new stage, Shinobi City. It was also revealed that Sonic the Hedgehog-themed content is speeding our way in the first ever Ninjala collab. While details on the collaboration cannot be shared just yet, don’t be blue! Ninjala Reveals Season 2 Content Details and August 26 Launch, Upcoming DLC, and New In-Game Event

GungHo Online Entertainment (GOE) has released their first DLC pack for Ninjala, the Crow Tengu bundle, and has officially kicked off a week of knock-out madness with the IPPON MATSURI (Festival), taking place from July 21 to July 26. In addition, GOE has posted Dev Diary #7 to YouTube, in which the Ninjala developers share new information about Season 2 (coming August 26) and talk more about when players can expect to see the next episode of the hit Ninjala cartoon anime series.
