Schell Games’ debut horror title will also launch on SteamVR later this year

PITTSBURGH, PA — JUNE 6, 2024 – Today, Schell Games launched Silent Slayer: Vault of the Vampire, the jumpscare VR horror puzzler, for Meta Quest 2, Meta Quest Pro, and Meta Quest 3 headsets. Vampire slayers can purchase the game now for Meta headsets for $19.99 USD on the Meta Horizon Store. 

Schell Games also revealed that Silent Slayer: Vault of the Vampire is launching on SteamVR later this year. Eager players can wishlist the game now on Steam.

Players embark on a mythic quest to defeat a powerful clan of ancient vampires in Silent Slayer: Vault of the Vampire. They will need to dismantle various coffin defenses using special slayer tools, culminating in the opportunity to plunge a stake through the hearts of undead foes. Silence and precision are key – one wrong move and the fanged monsters will rise, immediately draining the player’s life force.

In Silent Slayer: Vault of the Vampire, players will encounter:

• Vicious Vampires – Players will face enemies with distinct peculiarities and inclinations. They must stop the vampiric ritual or the entire world may pay the price for their failures. 
• Tactical Tools – Slayers need to master a variety of tools to disarm vampires quietly lest they invoke their wrath. But remember: only a stake to the heart will end it.
• Jumpscares Galore – Tension builds with every move. Players must steel their nerves and steady their hands. One wrong move could be their last. 
• Devilish Distractions – Players must heed the castle’s other residents, who could break their focus and lead them to an untimely fate. 
• A Twisting Tale – With a mysterious magic book as their guide, the players’ tale unfolds one coffin at a time. In the end, slayers must come to terms with their fate, souls be damned.
