CES 2016: Nyko Fuels Your iPhone with High-Capacity Power and Qi Wireless Charging Cases

LA-based Specialists in Rechargeable Battery Solutions Challenge Market Leadership with Higher Capacity and Qi Inductive Wireless Charging

LOS ANGELES – Jan. 6, 2016 – Nyko Technologies today announced the first details of their new line of power accessories for iPhone at the 2016 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. After making its mark as the first company to create wireless controller chargers for video game consoles and patent holders of charging technology that utilizes dongles, the LA-based battery solutions expert is now expanding to offer power cases for the iPhone 6 and 6S. The new products include the Power Shield case, coming in a variety of power capacities up to 3500 mAh, and the Power Shield Q case with Qi inductive wireless charging and 2200 mAh capacity. The Q Shield was also announced, which simply adds Qi inductive wireless charging capabilities to an iPhone 6 or 6S in a slim design. (NYSE MKT and TASE: BTX) known for its ResearchKit-enabled app Asthma Health, today announced that its HealthKit-compliant iOS app, COPD Navigator, is now available for free download from the App Store. Developed in close partnership with researchers from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and leading pulmonologists from the Mount Sinai – National Jewish Health Respiratory Institute, the app empowers patients diagnosed with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) to better monitor and manage their condition. An enhanced version branded as SuperCare iBreathe will be clinically deployed by SuperCare Health, a chronic care management company specializing in respiratory diseases. The iBreathe app is customized with unique data collection points and allows SuperCare Health’s clinical care team to track them in real time and respond immediately to COPD patients enrolled in their Healthcare at Home program.
