Anoto Appoints Michael Marcum as Senior Vice President of Product Strategy

LUND, Sweden – January 28, 2016 – Anoto Group AB today announced that it has appointed Michael Marcum as Senior Vice President of Product Strategy. In this role, Michael will oversee strategic planning, brand strategy, and product positioning of Anoto’s global product portfolio across all business areas.

Michael brings more than 23 years of experience in consumer electronics and technology industries to Anoto, with specific expertise bringing successful, innovative, and important electronic input devices to market. For over 13 years, Michael held a variety of product management, product marketing, and business development at Wacom Technology Corp, makers of electronic pen and touch input solutions.

While serving as Wacom’s Vice President of Vertical Markets for the Americas, Michael introduced electronic handwritten signature hardware and software to the banking and healthcare industries. Previously, as Director of Product Management, Product Marketing, and Business Development, he pioneered interactive pen displays and graphics pen tablets for creative professionals, artists, and consumers, as well as interactive collaboration solutions for corporate meeting rooms and university lecture halls. Michael holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Western Oregon University as well as an MBA from Washington State University.
