Parry Gripp Composes New Track for PG, Creators Heading to Comic-Con to Meet With Fans

SAN FRANCISCO – July 12, 2012 – When not running away from the perils that befall them each day, what are the Pygmies of Pocket God doing? Rocking out! As irreverent as they are, the Pygmies have employed the help of equally irreverent (but in a good way!) musical sensation Parry Gripp, singer-songwriter and the brains behind Song of the Week. The result? A theme song taking the island by storm! Dubbed The Pygmy Theme, this collaboration between the Pygmies and Parry Gripp—okay, pretty much all composed by Parry Gripp with little Pygmy involvement — originally debuted in Episode 45: Dance Dance Execution, has been well received by the Pocket God community and, due to popular demand, is now available for download. Red Fly Studio and RAW Studios Launch Bad Planet Kickstarter Campaign

Austin-based Game Studio and Thomas Jane-backed Production Company to Bring Sci-Fi Comic IP to PC and Console Gamers

At Comic Con in San Diego today, independent game developer Red Fly Studio and Hollywood actor Thomas Jane’s RAW Studios have launched a Kickstarter campaign to create a video game based on the Bad Planet comic series.  One of the first comics produced by RAW Studios, Bad Planet is a science fiction series based on a plague of inter-galactic Death Spiders attempting to decimate Earth, and the Convict, a lone alien warrior fighting to save the planet. The Bad Planet video game will be a third-person action game featuring stunning visuals, an episodic format, and brutal melee combat.
